Namsate i am Sanjib adhukari I  am now on the way to Everest base camp it be very cold weather last few days it be start to snow to 29th January 201Everest has always been the desirable name among all the people around the world, mostly the adventure lovers. To reach at an altitude of 8,848m is not an easy task, it requires a lot of hard effort and dedication. It can be the greatest achievement in one’s life, overcoming the fear of the harshness of the nature.Mount Everest is also known as Chomolungma which resembles the meaning as a mother earth. Everest was successfully conquered by Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa in the year 1953 for the first time. Following the same route discovered by them thousands of travelers each make an attempt to conquer the highest peak of the world annually. Though some of them became successful whereas some lost their life. Though, who cant make it to the peak fulfill the desire of the having glimpse of Mount Everest from its base, from the base camp (5,320m).

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking Winter and Spring 2016 | Nepal Guide Info

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking Winter and Spring 2016 | Nepal Guide Info   A Kathmandu based company
Nepal Planet Treks and Expedition arranged the eleven day trek, providing our
party of four with an experienced and knowledgeable guide, Sanjib Adhikari ,
and three porters. Other groups were doing the trip with fewer support staff
but none received better assistance. We were the envy of other trekkers at the
guest houses by the attention we received and the little extras provided, such
as the fresh fruit salad platter that rounded off our evening meal. Our guide
and porters were always on hand during the day, ensuring we took the safer
options and providing advice as required on conserving energy while dealing
with the considerable ups and downs of our traverse.

Even with this encouragement, our trek to ABC involved walking over 20 kilometers
a day. There is nothing easy about crossing the valleys skirting Annapurna
South and then climbing up to the Base Camp, but it proved to be an
unforgettable experience, especially for this 1949er.

I've returned home fitter and smiling after the experience. Thank you, Mr NJ  of Nepal Planet Treks and Expedition , for
challenging me to attempt what seemed at first glance to be a "bridge too
far".
